Mildmay Pool Goes Solar
South-Bruce adds second solar pool heating system from SolarOntario
The Municipality of South Bruce has ordered a second solar pool heating system from SolarOntario for its outdoor pool in Mildmay Ontario.
In 2008, SolarOntario won an RFP to design, supply and install a solar pool heating system for the Teeswater/Culworth swimming pools in Teeswater. Due to the successful performance of that solar pool heating system, the municipality decided to solar heat their pool in Mildmay, and issued an RFP for that project which SolarOntario also won.
The project required a structure be first built to hold the collectors, which was completed in December of 2009. The 40 - 4' x 12' Techno-Solis solar collectors were then installed. The balance of the system was installed in the Spring of 2010.
